Aviation: Air Quality

Lord Tyler asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the Department for Transport will participate in research on cabin air quality by the United States Federal Aviation Administration. [HL1943]

Lord Bassam of Brighton: Department for Transport officials and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) are discussing with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) the possibility of collaborative research.
